Angelia Franke started her teaching career as a tutor in the classroom in 2000. She obtained her teaching certification in 2003 and began teaching in 2004. Franke has coached middle school and high school cheerleading for seven years. Along with the head coach, Treasure Standeford, they took the 2015-16 varsity cheerleaders to win the regional champion title in September, along with the fourth place title at the state competition.
Mrs. Franke graduated from Nowata High School and went on to Oklahoma State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Marketing. Franke and her husband, Steve, met in an OSU marketing class. Mrs. Franke and her husband have been married for 24 years. Their son, John, attends Oklahoma State University and majors in Mechanical Engineering. Their daughter, Meredith, is a senior at Nowata High School and will be attending Oklahoma State University in the fall. Franke and her family live in the country and they have two horses, two dogs and five cats. Mrs. Franke enjoys gardening, photography and cheering on the OSU Cowboys, especially at football games!
