A shocking discovery was made on Sunday, April 10. A body was found just north of Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa, OK. “Police received a call about the body at 5:15 p.m.,” a dispatcher said. It was a male they believe to be 22 years old, found him in a drainage ditch on 8900 East 65th Street. Officials released his name as Tyler Benson.

Officials tell Tulsa’s Channel 8 that Benson’s body was found by a group of children walking through the area. He was lying face down beneath a bridge submerged in water. Investigators collected evidence at the time of the scene, but are still unsure on the reason of his death or the circumstances surrounding it. Officers found a compressed-air duster can near the man’s body and believe he may have been huffing its contents before he died. The investigators say they didn’t see any obvious signs of trauma, but the medical examiner took his body for observation, to determine the cause of death. The time of how long the victim was laying in the creek has still not been determined.
