On March 23, 2016, there were explosions in both Leopoldlaan and 1930 Zaventem, Belgium. One of the attacks was a suicide bomber who wanted to harm himself and others in the process. The other was an explosion that happened in a busy subway station at the Belgium capital. There were thirty people pronounced dead and at least 230 people who were severely wounded.
Reporters say, “ISIS claimed responsibility for the coordinated attacks, but authorities said it’s too soon to say for sure whether the terror group was behind the blasts.” While investigating, a note from the suicide bomber, found in a bin said, “I don’t know what to do. If I give myself up I’ll end up in a cell.”
One in particular person, Mason Wells has been through this type of bombing once before, three years ago at the Boston Marathon. After the bombing at the Brussels airport Tuesday, Wells was left with a surgery scar, a severed Achilles tendon, a head gash, shrapnel injuries and severe burns, although severely in pain he is expected to make a full recovery. This is a very tragic incident that happened to these group of people. stay tuned and keep of with this investigation here!!
