The middle school’s book fair was the week of Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1. The book fair was open from 7:30 in the morning to 3:30 in the afternoon. During those times, students could come in the middle school library and buy any book they want. The book fair was open to not just middle school but also high school and elementary school students as well.
Thursday, March 31, the book fair was open from 4:30 to 7 pm for family night. Students could bring their family and buy all the books they wanted. There were hotdogs and drinks available for the students and their families. The book fair does not just have books for sale, there was also bookmarks, pencils, erasers, and many other things to buy.
Mrs. Branndi Staehle was the staff member who put on the book fair. Staehle stated, “I love getting to see all the students picking out their favorite books. Our goal for this year was $1,000 dollars and we almost doubled that goal from Monday through Thursday and ended the book fair with a total of $2,102.07.”
