Elementary will be having an end of the year field trip for all grades to celebrate the end of testing. All grades will be leaving the school at 8:45 a.m and will be returning at 2:30 p.m.
Preschool will be leaving on April 22, and will be going to Independence, Kansas to the Independence Zoo. Grades kindergarten and first grade will also be going to the Independence Zoo on April 28 and May 4.
Second grade will be going to the Woolaroc Museum. Woolaroc is located in Bartlesville and has some of the world’s most unique collections of Western and Native American pottery, baskets, beads, blankets, cultural art, and historical displays.
Third grade will be going to Bounce-U in Tulsa. Bounce-U is a huge indoor inflatable center.
Fourth grade will be going to Diamond Point School in Nowata. Different classes will be going throughout the week. On the 26th, Mrs. Voss’s class will be going, then on the 27th, Mrs. Camacho’s class will go. The last two class that will go will be Mrs. Norris’s class on the 28th, and Mrs. Clayton’s class on the 29th.
Fifth grade will be going to Incredible Pizza in Tulsa. Incredible Pizza is a large entertainment center that has games, activities and a buffet.
Lunch will be provided for all trips. Grades pre-k through fourth grades are not allowed to bring money on the trips.
Patti Hathcoat, the secretary at the elementary says, “It wouldn’t be fair to the other kids if one kid had money and the others didn’t.”
