8th Grade Science Test
Eighth graders from Nowata Middle School will be taking the eighth grade science test the 14th of April. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) has assessed the science abilities of students in grades fourth, eighth, and twelfth in both public and private schools since 1996. This test will cover areas from the Scientific Inquiry (chapter one) to the Force of Motion (chapter eleven).
“I think they’re going to do well. I’m pretty confident that my students will score average or above average,” stated Mr. Fitzgerald, science teacher for Nowata Middle School.
Students will be directed to go to their first hour class until they are called out at 8:15 to go to the library.
