Six wins and four more games to go. Nowata Ironmen has had a great season so far. With  winning every game played, The Nowata Ironmen varsity football team is undefeated. “We have all worked so hard, preparing for this season,” says sophomore, Jakob Barnes. “Our work is definitely paying off,” he says. The boys had practice five days a week over summer break. Early mornings and long hour practices were dreaded. “Now looking back, they were well worth it,” says freshman Ronald Davis. The season is flying by. For senior, Corey Hobbs it’s going to be hard saying goodbye to high school football. “This being my last year, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to share the winnings with,” he says.
