Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton perform “Can’t Drink You Away” for the 2015 CMA.

Chris Stapleton may have taken home quite a few trophies at last week’s CMA Awards (including best male vocalist over people like Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton), but he also stole the entire show with his outrageous performance alongside none other than Justin Timberlake.

“I was less than nervous, I was excited. Having Justin in the room elevates everybody — not just everybody on the stage, but everybody in the room. He’s that guy, he has that kind of talent.” – Chris Stapleton

Stapleton won many awards including: male vocalist, new artist of the year and album of the year.
