The Masquerade Dance

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) hosted a masquerade dance in the elementary’s cafeteria on Tuesday, March 8th. The dance began at 6:00 p.m and lasted until 8:00 p.m. Students were picked up by 8:15 p.m. Grades Pre-K to 5th were allowed to attend. Letters were sent home with the kids during the week of February 23, containing information and details on the masquerade dance

Many of the kids were excited and happy about the dance. There were even children on the bus who had their mask on, bragging about how much better theirs was than the others. Everyone looked forward to the masquerade dance and had a great time

.The admission cost to attend was five dollars and people were asked to prepay before Tuesday to receive a masquerade mask. The dance had provided pizza, drinks and best of all cookies! Halloween masks weren’t allowed at the masquerade dance, only actual masquerade themed masks.

The masquerade dance was sponsored by the PTO. If you would like to keep up to date with what PTO will be doing in the future you can go to their Facebook page at Glenn C. Moore Elementary PTO, or just simply click the link below.
